Basicaly providing you've got a decent tool kit and the time a Landrover is one of the easiest vehicles to overhaul due to the fact that it's about as complicated as a tractor.
I've just completed a chassis up rebuild on a 1960 series 2, and if i can do it so can anybody. One piece of advice though, if you've got one with a decent chassis then everything else is worth doing, if it's a rot box then you are going to throw your money away!
