things to check ...
under the bonnet where the heater pipes go through the bulk head ..trace the hoses back and about 10 cm theres BLACK PLASTIC VALVE when the air cons on it sends the hot water back to the engine ..if this isnt working ..you can tell the metal lever is pulled in to the actuator ....the air con works over time like mad ...
have you checked the thermostat ????
best option is to fit a new one ..observe correct way round ..DONT be tempted not to fit one ....
this can have dire results !!!!!!
when its hot rev the engine ..does the top hose become firm ?????
if so sorry but your trads blocked ....
happen to my 94 disco ..water ran through it etc
when i tried to flush and it seemed ok .....
does the fan roar when hot & reved ????
check the viscus ..hot air stipper on middle will make it grab to test it .....
thought my old one was duff ...but it aint ....
