The following are the groups rules as of 8th August 2004.
Name :of the organisation shall be the Landrover Owners Group or L.O.G. if abbreviated.
Object: To further an interest in, and provide members with information, organise events, involvement with rights of way issues, discounts, advice and assistance on matters connected with all types of Land- Rover by way of members self help.
Constitution: Membership is offered to anyone who owns, drives, or is interested in petrol or diesel (or gas) engined Land-Rovers, Range-Rovers, Defenders, Discoverys or 101 Forward Control Vehicles or Hybrid.
Subscription: The annual subscription shall be £15. Renewal subscriptions shall be payable on the aniversary of initial membership.Membership is self renewing unless cancelled.
Non-payment: Any member who has not paid his/ her subscription on the renewal date will be taken out of membership and will not be eligible to take part in functions promoted by the group or to receive the Newsletter or access the site.
Guests: Any member may attend events and bring guests, However the guests have to accept and be bound by Landrover Owners Groups rules, Additionally the same guest may not attend more than three functions else membership should be taken by guest
The Register: The name and address and any other details supplied to the group by the membership shall be maintained in the form of a register. Details required for the register, which are subject to change , must be supplied in full to the group if requested. Copies of details held on any member are available to that member at any time with reasonable notice.
Use of Register: The name and address of the group shall not be used by any normal member for trade, advertising or in connection with any legal proceedings.
Expulsion: Administrators and Moderators shall have the power to expel any member if, at any time, they shall be of the opinion that the interest of the Group could be best served by the expulsion of that member with no refund of any monies paid. Reasons for expulsion are but Not limited to Abuse of the email address for spamming abuse of other parties racial abuse and illegal activities.
Observance: Every member binds him/ herself to abide by the rules of the Group and also accept as final and binding the decision of Administrators or Moderators
Ownership: Ownership The Site is wholy owned and operateded by Zone Holdings
Alterations: Zone Holdings reservers the right for alterations may be made to these rules
Dissolution: The site may be dissolved at any time by Zone Holdings with suitable notice to the members and forthwith liquidate the affairs of the site. Any surplus to be distributed to Zone Holdings.
Participation in any third party show or other event is at the risk of the individual. While the Group may draw attention to events, arrangements are made with the organisers of the event and not with the Group, even if the Group forwards application forms or passes messages and information. The Group does not act as an agent for the organisers. It is a condition of participation in, or entry to, any event, including static display, that the vehicle and participants are covered by Third Party insurance and that they agree to absolve and indemnify the Group and its officers and other members against any liability however this should be occasioned.Participation in any show or other event organised by the Group is at the risk of the individual.
